Solar Energy - Auditing and Estimation Course This course is intended for working journeymen
and recent (within 2 years) graduates of building trades programs in New Mexico. Verifiable graduates of apprentiship
programs or/and of any construction related training program (high school, trade school, college or university) who are
already working in commercial, industrial and residential settings are invited to consider this course for continuing/advanced
education/training. This is a blended course consisting of 40 hours of in-class and laboratory (projects) work along with an
estimated 40 additional hours of online exercises and study work. It is scheduled for Spring-2010 in Albuquerque.

PLAY IT LIKE A MAESTRO - Operating Safety Instrumentation
Each instrument is to be covered in 20 minutes (about) during this 12 hour course.
- (5 min.) - A "war story," i.e., why the instrument has been/is/could be important.
- (5 min.) - General principles of operation and configuration - varieties and sources for the instrument, calibration and settings and surety limits, care of the instrument, maintenance and example records.
- (10 min.) - Pass-rounds and use of the instrument in a mini-classroom demonstration/exercise.
Around 25 instruments - covered in 12 hours.
